Our verdict
Axis Reserve is a super-premium Axis card with unlimited lounge access and a 1.5% forex markup. The ₹50,000 annual fee is waived at ₹35 lakh annual spend and the minimum income is ₹5 lakh a month, so it only makes sense for very high spenders. Domestic lounges now need the Reserve card itself, as Priority Pass is not valid for domestic lounges in India from 28 Aug 2026. Axis does not publish the miles earn rate on its public page, so check it before applying.
Pros
- Annual fee waived at ₹35 lakh spend
- Unlimited lounge access, domestic and international (domestic through the card itself)
- 1.5% forex markup — competitive at this fee level
- Fuel surcharge waiver on eligible fuel spends
Cons
- ₹50,000 annual fee unless you reach ₹35 lakh in annual spend
- ₹5L/month minimum income requirement — highly selective eligibility
- Insurance, fuel, gold, wallet, gift card and toll spends earn no points and do not count toward the fee waiver
- Complimentary airport transfers and Oberoi hotel offers have been discontinued
