Our verdict
Axis Burgundy Private (now marketed as Burgundy Private - The One Card) is reserved for Axis Burgundy Private clients, with a total relationship value of ₹5 crore (excluding demat) or a net salary credit of ₹10 lakh a month. The fee is ₹1 lakh plus GST, complimentary only while the relationship stays at ₹5 crore or above. It offers unlimited lounge access and a 0% forex markup; the entry barrier is the banking relationship, not the fee. We could not confirm the miles earn rate from Axis's public pages.
Pros
- No fee while your relationship stays at ₹5 crore or above — compensated by the banking relationship
- Unlimited lounge access; domestic lounges need the Burgundy Private card itself, as Priority Pass is no longer valid for them in India from 28 Aug 2026
- 0% forex markup on overseas spends
- Fuel surcharge waiver on eligible fuel spends
Cons
- Limited to Burgundy Private clients — ₹5 crore relationship (excluding demat) or ₹10 lakh a month net salary credit required
- Not obtainable through standard credit card application
- ₹1 lakh plus GST fee if the relationship value drops below ₹5 crore
- Extremely narrow eligibility
